Beginner Classes- For all first-time KFAP students**, this program is structured to build a solid foundation of archery knowledge, by providing weekly lessons on all of the basic essentials of the sport, including; range safety, proper form, grouping, sight adjustment, scoring, etc.
Advanced Classes- For students who have completed at least one session of classes through KFAP**, these classes focus more on individual coaching, and advancement through the KFAP ranking system. Students will recieve coaching on more advanced shooting techniques, along with lessons on goal setting and mental management.
Outdoor Classes- For our advanced students, special, outdoor archery programs are available during the Spring and Summer Sessions. This program teaches the skills needed to successfully shoot outdoors, at greater distances, and exposes archers to several different forms of outdoor archery, including outdoor target archery, field archery and 3-D.
Winter Session 12 weeks Begins January 2, 2017
Spring Session 10 weeks Begins April 17, 2017
Summer Session 6 weeks Begins July 10, 2017

*All equipment is subject to inspection by the instructor, for safety & proper fit.
** If a student has previously participated in another, high-level archery program, such as those at professional archery ranges, but has not taken a program through KFAP, you may ask for a waiver for them to join the Advanced class. This is done by schedualing a private, evaluation session (cost $10), for Coach Bill to evaluate the extent of their knowledge. Please note that most summer camp, Boy Scout, school, YMCA, etc. programs WILL NOT meet the KFAP standards, as they are most often brief experiences, taught by minimally qualified instructors.
